. The Peritoneal Malignancy Institute is an internationally renowned tertiary service for patients with rare forms of cancer. Patients are admitted from across the country and typically stay at least two weeks, so the role involves a mix of virtual and in‑person support.

• Conduct virtual pre‑admission assessments and provide pre‑surgery psychological support.
• Deliver face‑to‑face interventions in hospital and follow‑up support virtually after discharge.
• Conduct Level 4 specialist psychological assessments and provide input to patient care.
• Work with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) by attending meetings, offering specialist advice, and consulting to support symptom management and psychological distress alleviation.
• Co‑operate with clinical supervision by Consultant Clinical Psychologist Nancy Vanderpuye.

• Graduate qualified in Clinical or Health Psychology (newly qualified applicants on a preceptorship programme are considered).
• Experience in health psychology is desirable.
• Flexible start and finish hours; available to work Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
• Post is an 8a, but the position may be tailored with experience.
