Job Summary:

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate female domiciliary care workers to join our team in the Basingstoke area. The role involves providing high-quality personal care and support to clients in their own homes. Candidates must have a valid driving licence and access to a car.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support with toileting needs and continence management.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor health conditions.
• Report any changes in health to a supervisor or healthcare professional.
• Help clients with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social activities.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Ensure the home environment is safe and comfortable.
• Provide companionship and engage in conversation to alleviate loneliness.
• Support clients' mental and emotional well-being through active listening and encouragement.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client's condition.
• Complete daily logs and report to the supervisor as required.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Attend regular training sessions and stay updated with best practices in care.

Requirements:

• Valid UK driving licence and access to a car.
• 6 months experience in domiciliary within UK.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
• 3-year Certificate of Sponsorship (COS).
