Team Leader, Healthcare

Overview

This role is ideal for an experienced Support Worker or Care Assistant looking to take the next step in their career.

• 12‑hour day shifts: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm
• 42 hours weekly
• Every other weekend included

• Full UK driving licence
• Licence held for more than 2 years
• Over the age of 25

• Act as a role model by leading and supervising carers day‑to‑day, working alongside them and completing regular staff appraisals.
• Ensure good team working.
• Motivate, support and mentor the staff when needed.
• Organise staff allocations and breaks.
• Promote the professional image of the services through excellent communication, appropriate behaviour and professional appearance.

• Strong communication skills
• Commitment to working with vulnerable people and safeguarding responsibilities
• Effective decision making and judgement
• Strong planning and organisation skills
• Completed NVQ Level 3 in Adult Social Care (or equivalent)
• Achieves all Health & Safety standards
