Position: Support Worker

Location: Worting Road, Basingstoke

Hours: 37.5 contracted hours per week (Mon‑Sun, including weekends, days, evenings, holidays and sleep‑ins)

Salary: £26,058.65 per annum (£13.33 p/h)

The Role

We want someone caring and enthusiastic to support customers with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and mental health conditions. It is a rewarding and flexible position that changes daily.

Must have a full UK driving license.

Day to Day Activities
  • Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required)
  • Medication administration (if required)
  • Support with preparing and cooking meals
  • Support with attending medical appointments
  • Support with social activities
  • Support with independent skills
  • Support with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry
  • Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required
  • Keeping up to date with training

About The Candidate

You don’t need prior care experience; we value values, passion and determination to help people with autism or learning disabilities.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Clean UK driving license to use a customer vehicle
  • Self‑directed and able to work within a team
  • Excellent communication skills with people
  • Ability to complete quality support records
  • Willingness to work weekends
  • Willingness to work shifts between 7 am and 10:30 pm and overnight sleep‑ins
  • Ability to follow a support plan, risk assessments and maintain customer records
  • Literacy and numeracy in English
  • Willingness and ability to achieve the Care Certificate
