Maternity Support Worker Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Location:
Basingstoke Hospital, Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital
Assist the multi‑disciplinary team in providing a high quality, family‑centred maternity service.
Support the midwife in all clinical areas in the care of women and babies.
What we look for- Previous or current experience within a maternity setting.
- Care certificate and skills/competencies signed off as Band 2 MSWy.
- Experience in maternity care within hospital and community settings.
- Ability to work as part of a team, be organised and prioritise workload.
- Care certificate
- Good standard of general education:
English language and GCSE maths grades A- or better. - NVQ 3 or equivalent
- Planning and organisational ability
- Willingness to undertake a diploma in Newborn hearing screening programme
- Venepuncture
- Full driving licence
- Willingness to undertake AN education classes
- Experience in maternity care.
- Current experience within a healthcare setting.

Salary£25,760 to £27,476 a year (pro rata)
