We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry to join our NHS client in Basingstoke, Hampshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert psychiatric care for older adults in a variety of clinical settings
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised treatment plans
- Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service development
- Offer clinical supervision and support to junior medical staff
- Ensure full compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA) and other relevant legislation
- Full GMC registration
- Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician (AC) status
- Extensive experience in Old Age Psychiatry
- Proven experience in a consultant-level role
