Care Assistant - Nights

Night Care Assistant post at Pemberley House Care Home, run by Avery Healthcare Group. The role centres on personal hygiene care that protects residents' dignity and independence, and on spotting early clinical risks such as falls or pressure sores. Night working is the main feature, and no experience is needed as a full induction is given. Right to work and a DBS check are required, with the check paid for by the employer.

• Deliver personal care that protects residents' independence, dignity and respect
• Assist residents with all personal hygiene care
• Recognise clinical risks such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls and signs of infection, and escalat??
• Act courteously towards residents and their visitors
• Follow safe systems of work across all tasks
• Contribute to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents

• Effective verbal and written communication
• Initiative and respect towards residents and others in the home
• Efficient working and following reasonable instructions from team members
• Adaptability to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice
• Understanding of clinical risk areas in residents
