Liberty Recruitment Group are delighted to be working exclusively with a well-established and growing organisation in the search for a Group HR Advisor to join their People team on a maternity cover contract.

Reporting into a personable and knowledgeable Head of HR, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business operating across a range of sectors, offering a collaborative and fast-paced working environment.

Based in Basingstoke this is a hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 from home), offering a salary of £35,000 – £40,000 plus bonus.

The role:

You will play a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle, working closely with managers and stakeholders to provide expert HR advice and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day HR operations.

Key responsibilities:

Provide HR advice and guidance in line with UK employment law and best practice

Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures

Lead or support HR projects across engagement, wellbeing, EDI and change initiatives

Deliver training and act as a key point of contact for HR queries

Manage end-to-end recruitment processes and onboarding

Maintain and improve HR systems, ensuring GDPR compliance

Monitor HR metrics and provide insights to support decision-making

Supporting on ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance

About you

Proven experience in a generalist HR role

Strong knowledge of UK employment law

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment

Experience with HR systems and Microsoft Office

CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) desirable

Manufacturing sector experience advantageous
