Consumer Strategist – Northern European Hub (UK & Nordics)

The Consumer Strategist role places consumers at the center of the business. By analyzing behaviors, attitudes, and needs, the strategist identifies key problems to solve and develops intuitive, relevant, and impactful experiences. Working closely with brands and cross‑functional partners, this role ensures the consumer mindset is embedded across the organization while building capability within teams. The remit spans the Northern European Hub, covering the UK and Nordic markets.

Consumer

Insight & Strategy

• Build deep understanding of consumers in Neuroscience (Alzheimer’s and Dementia) through segmentation, personas, journeys, and ecosystem mapping.
• Develop a 5‑year consumer engagement strategy for neuroscience.
• Monitor external trends and adapt strategies accordingly.

Campaign Development & Execution

• Lead planning, execution, and optimization of consumer campaigns across relevant channels.
• Collaborate with media agencies on campaign planning.
• Oversee creative development with agencies, localizing global content and creating impactful local assets.
• Ensure compliance by working closely with legal and regulatory teams.
• Partner with BI&A to measure, monitor, and optimize campaigns for continuous improvement.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Drive clarity, communication, and alignment across internal teams (Marketing, Market Research, Digital, Sales, Medical Affairs, Legal) and external partners (agencies, vendors).
• Build consumer capability within teams by demonstrating tools, processes, and techniques that prioritize the consumer voice.
• Collaborate on regulatory queries and provide scientific input where needed.

Requirements

• Good brand/consumer marketing experience in brand management within local or regional markets, with proven ability to translate global strategies into impactful local execution.
• FMCG background
