Cloud Engineer

You will design, implement, and maintain a scalable, secure managed services cloud infrastructure. As a key member of our operations team you will optimise uptime, scale the platform as we grow new services, and maintain compliance with industry best practices and security baselines.

• Design and implement best practice Microsoft Azure architectures.
• Build and troubleshoot containerised services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Operate, monitor, and dashboard the entire IT stack using tools such as Salesforce, Netbox, Zabbix, and Grafana.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer solutions.

• Proven expertise in Azure architecture design.
• Strong cloud security knowledge.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git Hub Actions, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Experience working with Linux.
• Excellent problem‑solving and technical documentation skills.

• Networking fundamentals (TCP, IP, OSI, VPN, BGP).
• Test‑driven development approach.
• Scrum team experience.
• Strong communication and time management.

• Location:
  
  Hybrid role – attending Basingstoke office.
• Hours:
  
  Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 9:00‑5:30, occasional evening or weekend work.
• Travel: UK travel, overnight stays, occasional international trips.
• Driving licence:
  Full UK driving licence required; attend customer sites across the UK.
