Infrastructure Architect

I'm currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Architect to join a large, high-profile programme delivering secure IT services within the Defence and Government sector . This is a Basingstoke-based role working on complex, mission-critical infrastructure in a highly regulated environment. Security clearance Due to the nature of the programme, candidates must be eligible and willing to undergo a high level of UK security clearance .

The role As an Infrastructure Architect, you'll join a team of System Architects responsible for designing, building, and delivering secure infrastructure solutions. The focus of the role is a network management infrastructure supporting a global WAN service , requiring strong technical breadth across enterprise WINTEL platforms. You'll work closely with delivery teams, project managers, and third-party suppliers to implement change safely and effectively.

Key responsibilities In this role, you will:
Design and deliver infrastructure solutions to meet evolving customer and programme requirements Lead and contribute to architectural change across a network management infrastructure supporting a global WAN Produce and maintain technical documentation including HLDs, LLDs, and Build Guides
