An innovative UK technology company is seeking a System Test Lead to take ownership of validation across a complex platform combining software and physical sensing technologies. This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys working with real‑world systems while shaping test strategy and driving quality.

You’ll lead end‑to‑end testing across an integrated hardware/software product, ensuring performance, reliability, and readiness for deployment. The role combines technical delivery, team coordination, and continuous improvement of testing approaches.

• Define and deliver the overall testing strategy and roadmap
• Lead system‑level validation across lab and field environments
• Execute and analyse structured test campaigns
• Drive adoption of test automation and efficient tooling
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams
• Communicate insights, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders
• Continuously improve testing processes and coverage

• Degree in engineering, computer science, or similar (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience testing complex, integrated systems (hardware + software)
• Strong background in system‑level validation and automation
• Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting skills
  
  Comfortable leading testing initiatives and working cross‑functionally
• Clear communicator able to present technical findings effectively

• Experience with sensing technologies or data‑rich physical systems
