This is an exciting opportunity to influence strategic decision-making, champion a data-informed culture and help shape the future of our workforce through the effective use of analytics, dashboards and emerging AI capabilities.

What you'll be doing

As our subject matter expert for workforce analytics and reporting, you'll:

  • Analyse and interpret complex workforce data, identifying key trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Develop impactful dashboards, reports and visualisations using tools such as Power BI and Excel.
  • Deliver meaningful insights across recruitment, retention, diversity and inclusion, engagement, absence, learning, performance and workforce planning.
  • Partner with leaders and People colleagues to provide evidence-based recommendations that support organisational priorities.

You’ll bring a blend of technical expertise, commercial awareness and excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in people analytics, workforce analytics, business intelligence, statistics or a related field.
  • Advanced dashboard development and reporting skills, particularly using Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and workforce data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with the ability to turn data into practical recommendations.
  • Excellent storytelling and report-writing skills, bringing data to life through compelling narratives and visualisations.
  • A solid understanding of workforce metrics, people analytics methodologies and data governance principles.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, UK employment data requirements and data protection legislation.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • The confidence to present complex information in a clear, engaging and accessible way.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and a curiosity for emerging trends in people analytics, AI and workforce planning.
