Working Pattern: Shift working, 0700–1500 and 1100–1900 on a rotating pattern

Tektora are supporting a leading Defence and National Security IT provider who are looking to speak with DV Cleared 3rd Line Storage and PKI Engineers for a contract opportunity supporting a high profile user community on a high level government account.
This role would suit someone with strong storage and public key infrastructure support experience who is comfortable within a change-controlled secure environment and is looking to develop further across cloud storage and PKI delivery.
The RoleYou will be involved in:
- Responding to escalations from 2nd Line and completing daily checks
- Maintaining and supporting the PKI solution
- Attending PKI activities, requiring travel to other sites several days a month
- Maintaining and supporting the backup and storage solution, providing timely updates to the Operations Lead
- Carrying out planned activities through a Change Management process
- Monitoring the system using Event Management tooling and responding to incidents through the Incident process
- Triaging incidents and escalating through the Service Management team
- Carrying out readiness assessments for new releases entering service from the Engineering team
- Producing and maintaining documentation such as work instructions and patching schedules
- UK Sole National with active DV Clearance
- Storage solutions experience, for example Dell Avamar and Data Domain
- Public key technologies, for example Microsoft or Thales
- Cloud infrastructure storage experience
- VMware cloud technologies
- Willing to work a rotating shift pattern and travel to other customer sites
- ITSM tooling and processes
- Server administration, for example Microsoft Windows Server
- Event management tooling such as SCOM, use of rather than administration
- VMware vCenter, use of rather than administration
