Lead DevSecOps Engineer

Location: Hampshire – Basingstoke, on site 5 days per week (Mon–Fri)

Tektora are supporting a leading Defence and National Security IT provider who are looking to speak with DV Cleared Lead Dev Sec Ops  Engineers for a contract opportunity driving the technical delivery of CI/CD pipelines and integrated security tooling on one of the programme's most critical and technologically advanced work streams.

This role would suit someone with a software development background and strong Dev Sec Ops  tooling experience who has worked in an agile, sprint-based lifecycle and is looking to develop further across secure engineering processes, automation and technical leadership.

You will be involved in:

• Owning aspects of the technical implementation, delivery and assurance of the Dev Sec Ops  tooling and associated ways of working
• Contributing to technical implementation and design activities, supporting design decisions and assessing options
• Developing and documenting re-usable automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code artefacts
• Writing build automation in Ansible and IaC in Terraform, and configuring and building CI/CD pipelines
• Advising end users on the use of Dev Sec Ops  technologies, tooling and secure engineering processes
• Working within a Scrum team to define and prioritise work and raise risks and dependencies
• Ensuring the Dev Sec Ops  implementation aligns to business outcomes and security needs
• Mentoring junior engineers and making implementation decisions
• Contributing to planning and reporting progress to the Dev Sec Ops  Technical Lead
• Engaging other teams on tooling usage and dependency management

• UK Sole National with active DV Clearance
• Significant experience implementing, configuring and using CI/CD pipelines, ideally Azure Dev Ops
• IaC tooling including Terraform, Ansible and Harbor
• SCA, IAST and DAST tooling such as Black Duck, Coverity, Codesight, JFrog or Snyk
• Automated test tooling, ideally Selenium or Robot Framework
• Secure secrets management, ideally Azure Dev Ops and Hashi Corp Vault
• Version control with Git
• Comfortable across both Windows and Linux operating systems
• Test management tooling, ideally Azure Test Plans
• Experience working in an agile, sprint-based delivery lifecycle
• Previous experience mentoring or leading a team of engineers
• Prior delivery within a Defence or National Security programme
• Relevant Dev Sec Ops  or cloud certifications
