School Cleaner

About The Role

Days and hours:
Monday - Friday 15:45 - 17:45 (41 weeks per year / 39 weeks term time / 2 weeks deep clean)

Hourly Rate: £12.71

Location:

Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG21 3EX

Although the role is for less than 52 weeks per year, your pay will be spread out evenly so you receive a payment every month.

• Dedicate time on site to go the extra mile and meet the needs of Atlas’ clients.
• Inducted at the start of contract; trained within first week on cleaning specification and equipment usage.
• Provide high‑standard customer care across different shift hours.
• Handle site‑based equipment and cleaning materials with full training.
• Replenish consumables such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper and bin liners.
• Empty bins into appropriate waste and recycling containers.
• Ensure cleaning is completed to the highest standards at all times.
• Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times.
• Work within a team that goes the extra mile.

All you need is:

• An attitude to thrive and some cleaning experience (we can train from scratch if you have the right approach).
• Ability to carry out the physical aspects of the role.
• Basic spoken English for safety and communication with the public and management.
• Good social skills to deliver service with a smile.
• Right to work in the UK; bring evidence to interview.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Two satisfactory references are required.
