Head of Programmes, Basingstoke:
Our client is a UK-based advanced defence & Aerospace manufacturing organisation specialising in complex electronics and integrated systems. The business supports customers in highly regulated, technically demanding sectors, offering end-to-end capabilities from design through to production, testing and lifecycle support across multiple UK locations.
- Head of Programmes, Basingstoke:
- Lead and manage a portfolio of complex programmes from order to delivery
- Ensure programmes are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards
- Establish and maintain robust programme governance, reporting and controls
- Act as the senior point of contact for key customers and stakeholders
- Drive cross‑functional collaboration across engineering, operations and supply chain
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring proactive issue resolution
- Support business growth through effective programme execution and customer satisfaction
- Lead, develop and coach programme management teams to high performance
- Head of Programmes, Basingstoke:
- Proven experience in a senior programme leadership role within manufacturing
- Significant experience within defence or aerospace sector
- Strong track record managing complex, multi‑disciplinary programmes
- Experience in engineering‑led or high‑reliability manufacturing environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams
- Strong commercial awareness with budget and cost control experience
- Skilled in stakeholder management, including customer‑facing leadership
- Experience implementing programme governance and delivery frameworks
- Ability to drive performance improvements and manage change effectively
Salary of circa £90,000 to £120,000 dependant upon experience, plus a good overall package.
