Vacancy - Branch Manager
Location - Basingstoke, Hampshire
Industry - Electrical Products
Working hours - Monday to Friday with one Saturday morning per month on a rota
Salary - up to circa £62K + bonuses + company car
Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic Branch Manager to take full control of our clients branch in the Basingstoke area
You'll be responsible for driving sales with full operational responsibility including sales and team management.
It's a hands on role working as part of the team, whilst supervising and driving business growth

Responsibilities:
• As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for maximising the contribution by the branch in line with the business plans and overall company policy and strategy
• Responsible for managing and achieving branch budgets and targets
• Developing strategies for increasing existing business, new business and lapsed accounts
• Participating in proactive and reactive sales – both internally and externally based
• Ensure that your team meet operational standards
• Assessing market conditions and identifying opportunities
Skills /
Experience:
• Management or supervisory or external sales experience in the electrical wholesale industry
• Ability to manage and motivate a team and lead by example
• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Dynamic, good sense of humour and a great attitude when dealing with people
• Full UK Driving Licence
You will be a hands on, proactive member of the team who is able to build excellent relationships with customers, staff and suppliers.
