Multi Skilled Engineer

Overview

Basingstoke — A GBP 40,000 base salary + overtime (1.5x Monday to Saturday AM, 2x Saturday PM and Sunday, 5:10 average hours per week) + company pension + training and development. Monday to Friday rotating day shift (6am, 8am and 9am start; 8.5 hours per day).

Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer required for a well-established and highly successful processing facility, working on brand new equipment. • Carry out both preventative and reactive maintenance on steam-operated laundry equipment.
• Work with PLC-driven equipment, motors, relays, switches, conveyors, and related plant machinery.
• Attend to building problems when required and support a small maintenance team.

• Respond to maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner to minimise downtime.
• Diagnose faults, perform repairs, and implement improvements to equipment reliability.
• Participate in both reactive and preventative maintenance programs.

• Maintenance experience in any industry; multi-skilled with either a mechanical or electrical bias.
• Mechanical, electrical, or multi-skilled background.
