An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Fitter to join a growing engineering and manufacturing business. This hands‑on role will see you assembling, integrating and mechanical and electrical systems while working to strict engineering and safety standards.
The role of a Mechanical Fitter will include:- Mechanical assembly and integration of assemblies
- Drilling, fastening and structural assembly work
- Completing build documentation, certification records and component traceability paperwork
- Working in line with quality procedures, engineering standards and health and safety requirements
- Using hand and power tools
- Proven hands‑on experience within mechanical assembly and fitting
- Experience of installation, drilling and fastening techniques
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical schematics and wiring diagram
- Salary of £30,000 - £35,000
- Company pension with employer contribution matching up to 10%
- 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
- OT rates
