Overview
We are seeking motivated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurses to join our inpatient teams as Nurse Team Leaders at Parklands Hospital. You will support the delivery of a high-quality 24‑hour, 7‑day service, regularly taking charge of the ward and undertaking delegated duties from the Clinical Ward Manager.
ResponsibilitiesYou will provide clinical leadership, supporting staff through supervision, teaching and effective deployment of resources. The role includes assessing care needs, developing and evaluating care plans, setting high standards of care and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
You will also take responsibility for the supervision and management of junior staff, including during night shifts, and work as an active member of the wider team, leading on a key project or area of practice. Ongoing training, supervision and reflective practice are essential elements of the role.
Ward Environments- Hazel Ward (PICU): A secure, low‑stimulus setting delivering intensive care with enhanced staffing levels.
- Juniper Ward:
An 18‑bed male ward, including specialist support for Armed Forces patients. - Cherry Ward:
An 18‑bed female ward providing acute mental health care.
