A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Safeguarding Support Team to appoint three skilled, motivated, and enthusiastic Registered Professionals to the Safeguarding Support Team as a Family Approach Nurse/Practitioner.

The post holders will support the Named Nurse/Professional in embedding this family-focused safeguarding approach across the Trust within a designated geographical hub model as part of the wider Safeguarding Support team.

The Safeguarding Nurse/Practitioner will be part of a service dedicated to supporting and promoting the welfare of adults and children. The role involves assisting the Named Nurse/Professional and Safeguarding Specialists in delivering a responsive, expert service that provides daily support and advice to Trust staff, ensuring good safeguarding practices which align with evidence-based research. The post holder will actively contribute to family approach, safeguarding training across the Trust, preparing and delivering training sessions.
