Responsibilities

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering exceptional patient care across medical and surgical cases

  • Carrying out nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities

  • Supporting veterinary surgeons during consultations, surgeries, and procedures

  • Monitoring patients and providing high-quality inpatient nursing care

  • Managing patient admissions and discharges

  • Providing outstanding client care and communication

  • Maintaining accurate clinical records

  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory, practice, and operational standards

  • Working collaboratively with the wider veterinary team

  • Participating in the on-call rota and Saturday rota as required

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)

  • Passionate about delivering exceptional patient and client care

  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills

  • Confident carrying out nurse consultations and Schedule 3 procedures
