R&D Scientist II, Food Safety

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced R&D Scientist II to join our team in Basingstoke. As a key member of our food safety team, you will be responsible for conducting research and development to ensure the safety and quality of our products. You will utilize your scientific expertise and technical skills in data analysis and machine learning to drive innovation and improve our food safety protocols.

• Design and execute experiments to investigate food safety and quality issues
• Analyze data using statistical modeling and machine learning techniques
• Develop and implement new food safety protocols and procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
• Present research findings and recommendations to senior leadership

• PhD in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in food safety research and development
• Strong background in data analysis and machine learning
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
