As Kitchen Manager, you will have full responsibility for all aspects of the kitchen operation. This is a hands‑on leadership role, where you will manage standards, people, stock, training, and service—particularly during busy trading periods. You will lead from the front, ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently, safely, and to company standards at all times.
Responsibilities- Take full ownership of the kitchen operation, ensuring smooth, efficient service across all trading periods.
- Prepare and cook menu items consistently to Superbowl UK standards.
- Train, develop, and manage the kitchen team, including new starters and ongoing skill development.
- Plan for and manage busy service periods, ensuring speed, quality, and organisation are maintained.
- Manage all stock control, including ordering, deliveries, stock rotation, and waste management.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene, cleanliness, and health & safety standards at all times.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and food safety requirements.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, presentation, and consistency.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment.
- Support rota planning and labour control where required.
- Work closely with the site Management Team to support overall site performance and guest satisfaction.
- 18 years or older with at least 1 year of kitchen experience.
- Strong understanding of food hygiene, health & safety, and kitchen best practice.
- Confident leading a small team and holding standards.
- Able to work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Organised, reliable, and proactive, with strong attention to detail.
- Positive, hands‑on attitude and commitment to delivering great food and service.

We are now looking for a hands‑on, accountable Kitchen Manager to take full responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of our kitchen in Basingstoke.
