Retail Assistant – Full Time

Full‑time Retail Assistant at Farmfoods in Basingstoke, Hampshire. 39 hours per week across 5 days.

• Hourly pay: £10.95 per hour for ages 16–20; £12.81 per hour for ages 21+.

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the tills, including packing help and a friendly thank‑you and goodbye.
• Handle stock carefully during deliveries, placing products into freezers and on shelves for customers.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

• Friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy; ready to switch between deliveries, till work, shop floor assistance and cleaning routines.
• Reliable, dependable as part of a small team.
• Flexible with shifts, including occasional differences to cover for colleagues and planned rota.
• Successful completion of an Employment Verification check.

Potential to progress within Farmfoods, including promotion to Shop and Area Manager positions from within.
