As an Assistant Category Manager you will support the Category Manager in all aspects of vendor operational management, ensuring best-in-class data integrity, reporting, system tools and operational processes. You will work across functions with Sales, Purchasing, Profit Management, Business Intelligence and vendor partners and play a key role in driving operational efficiency, supporting profitable growth and enabling informed business decision‑making.

• Support the end‑to‑end product and vendor lifecycle, ensuring accurate product setup, maintenance and data integrity.
• Manage vendor pricing activities, including pricing exceptions and corrective actions with Profit Management teams.
• Oversee the Ship & Debit process in partnership with the central Barcelona team.
• Collaborate with Purchasing teams on stock allocation, provisioning and inventory planning.
• Analyse sales‑out and stock performance data to identify trends and recommend actions.
• Build strong operational relationships with vendor partners to support forecasting and product planning.
• Contribute to business planning and help deliver quarterly Gross Profit (GP) targets.
• Provide day‑to‑day support to sales teams on pricing, product information and operational queries.

• Strong numerical, analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• A proactive, customer‑focused approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in a commercial, product, vendor management or technology‑related environment.
• Knowledge of the IT industry, vendors, distribution channels and market dynamics is advantageous.
