Role Overview

The Account Manager will manage and grow a portfolio of accounts, identify new business opportunities, and build strong relationships across vendors and customers. This position requires a proactive and strategic approach to achieving sales targets and driving customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve monthly and annual gross profit targets.
  • Develop a strong understanding of all assigned accounts and create tailored growth plans.
  • Continuously identify and pursue new prospects within key markets and technologies.
  • Build effective working relationships across internal teams to support collaboration.
  • Support vendor- and commercially-led initiatives where required.
  • Actively engage in training and development opportunities provided by the business and partners.
  • Work closely with management to meet personal and professional objectives.
  • Develop short-, medium-, and long-term business plans aligned with company goals.
  • Maintain an organised and structured approach to account management.
  • Meet all KPIs and performance metrics associated with the role.
  • Clearly articulate and demonstrate the value proposition of the enterprise technology offering.
Key Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development within the technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology solutions such as server, storage, and infrastructure products.
  • Ability to build and sustain long-term customer and vendor relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation capabilities.
  • Results-driven mindset with a passion for achieving sales targets.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and data-driven decision-making.
