The Opportunity

As a Key Account Manager, you'll be the trusted point of contact for a portfolio of key clients, developing strong partnerships through regular communication, video meetings, and face‑to‑face interactions. You'll take the time to understand your clients' businesses, objectives, and challenges, allowing you to proactively identify opportunities, deliver tailored solutions, and help them achieve their goals.

This role is about far more than simply managing accounts. You'll be responsible for growing and developing existing client relationships, ensuring KPI and SLA commitments are consistently met, providing ongoing support, and creating innovative solutions to overcome challenges and add value.

You will become a true partner to your clients, someone they trust to understand their needs, solve problems, and help them get the very best from the products and services available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build, develop, and nurture long‑term relationships with key client accounts
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client communication, support, and account development
  • Conduct regular video calls, client meetings, and face‑to‑face visits to strengthen relationships
  • Manage client KPIs and SLAs, ensuring service expectations are consistently achieved and exceeded
  • Maintain regular communication with customers, building trust and long‑term loyalty
  • Understand client challenges, objectives, and business needs to provide tailored recommendations
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling across your account portfolio
  • Proactively grow and develop existing accounts, increasing customer engagement and revenue opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes

    Investigate issues, understand root causes, and develop creative, practical solutions for clients
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and recommendations aligned to customer requirements
  • Keep clients informed of new products, services, and opportunities that could benefit their business
  • Drive customer retention through exceptional service, responsiveness, and relationship management
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in Account Management, Customer Success, Client Services, Business Development, Internal Sales, or a similar customer‑facing role
  • Outstanding communication and relationship‑building skills
  • A genuine passion for working with clients and delivering exceptional service
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunities
  • Experience managing customer expectations and delivering against KPIs and SLAs
  • A proactive, self‑starting attitude with the confidence to take ownership of accounts
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to think creatively when overcoming client challenges
  • Comfortable conducting video meetings and building relationships face‑to‑face
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
