Job Overview

Sales and Customer Services Executive – France. Based in Basingstoke, Basingstoke HQ. Permanent contract. Competitive base salary plus bonus (available on application). Fluent French essential. Hybrid working arrangement.

Our client is looking for a Service and Sales Executive to join their team and play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting the sales teams to achieve their targets.

Based at their Basingstoke HQ, you will support customers in France, acting as a central point of contact for Area Sales Managers and their territories, managing inbound and outbound activity, handling queries, identifying upsell opportunities and achieving sales targets.

• Provide day‑to‑day sales and service support to Area Sales Managers and customers in France.
• Handle inbound calls and emails, identifying and resolving customer queries efficiently.
• Take ownership of issues and aim for First Call Resolution wherever possible.
• Support outbound sales and service activity alongside the field sales team.
• Identify opportunities to upsell during customer interactions.
• Deliver against individual sales targets set annually.
• Accurately record and manage customer interactions within CRM systems.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Credit, Shipping, Operations) to resolve queries.
• Develop knowledge of order processing, shipping and wider business operations.

• Strong customer focus with a passion for delivering excellent service.
• Understanding of how service and sales work together to achieve results.
• Interest in the golf industry and product knowledge (ideal but not essential).
• Previous experience in a customer service and/or inside sales role.
• Fluent French language skills and mastery of the English language (essential).
• Strong communication skills with confidence on the phone and via email.
• Ability to build relationships and work effectively with internal stakeholders.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborative, team‑focused mindset, excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Experience using MS Office, CRM and ERP systems (Oracle advantageous).
