Job Description & How to Apply Below
Continued growth and development within its specialist training portfolio has created the opportunity to add another commercially minded individual who can develop new business while building long-term customer relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their B2B sales career who wants the agility and visibility of a smaller business alongside the resources, benefits and career opportunities associated with a major international organisation.
You'll sell specialist expert witness training solutions to both individual professionals and organisations with teams requiring training, engaging with customers across the NHS, emergency services, public sector, professional associations and private organisations. Working across both inbound opportunities and proactive business development, you'll identify prospects, understand their requirements, recommend appropriate training solutions and manage opportunities through to close, with typical sales ranging from £2,000 to £20,000.
This is a varied, 360-degree sales role where you'll combine lead generation, prospecting and relationship building with account development, repeat business, upselling and cross-selling. Success will come from becoming a trusted point of contact for customers, methodically developing opportunities and ensuring each client receives an excellent experience before being effectively handed across to the customer success team. You may already be working as a Sales Executive, Business Development Executive, Recruitment Consultant, Account Executive or Sales Consultant and be looking for an environment where quality of conversation matters as much as activity levels.
Experience selling professional services, training, education, recruitment, accreditation, legal or compliance-related solutions would be particularly relevant, although specialist sector knowledge is not essential and can be learned. You'll need to be articulate, commercially curious and confident speaking with professional customers and senior decision-makers, with the ability to understand specialist information and communicate its value clearly. Most importantly, you'll be proactive, organised and customer-focused, comfortable generating new opportunities and following them through while building the trusted relationships that lead to repeat business.
You'll join a friendly specialist business where people can make a visible contribution, while benefiting from the infrastructure, employee benefits, learning opportunities and stability that come from being part of a significantly larger international group. There is genuine scope to develop your sales career here, with a strong track record of people progressing into positions of greater responsibility as their experience and capabilities grow.
The role offers a basic salary of £32,130 plus typically £10,000 to £15,000 in additional earning potential, together with a broader corporate benefits package and hybrid working from a Central London office close to Bank, with Thursday as the team's minimum weekly office day.
