Vulnerability Research Summer Internship

A unique opportunity to launch your career in offensive security, developing your skills alongside some of the most experienced researchers in the industry.

• Receive instructor‑led (in person) and self‑led (remote) training to develop core skills in reverse engineering and vulnerability research
• Gain experience working alongside Interrupt Labs' researchers on real projects, allowing you to further develop your skills with their support and guidance
• Examples of projects may include: reverse engineering complex malware samples, creating bespoke fuzzing implementations, finding vulnerabilities in open-source software
• Programme runs between 5th July and 27th August 2027 (8 weeks)

• Passionate about vulnerability research with a basic understanding of this area
• Interested in understanding the low-level programming of hardware and software
• Experience reverse engineering against Android, iOS, Embedded or Hypervisor targets is desirable
• Going into penultimate or final year of university (typically seen as the 2ndor 3rd year of undergraduate studies, or the final year of a postgraduate degree)
• Eligible to hold SC level UK Security Clearance (National security vetting: clearance levels - )
