Plumber – Social Housing Responsive Repairs

Site based covering Berkshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire.
Standard Hours Monday‑Friday 39 hours plus out of hours on call.

• Previous experience working as a dedicated domestic plumber including replacing sanitaryware, toilets, baths, shower trays, basins, refurbishment of shower heads and taps, repairs off water mains supplies, soil stacks and drainage, ideally within social housing, tenanted properties.
• Maintenance and repair of vented and unvented hot water systems, cold water storage take maintenance and renewal.
• Responsive repairs call out on domestic properties – assessment of works required, identifying solutions and carrying out repairs.
• Working from job tickets or a handheld device daily, trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively.
• Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes.
• Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards.
• A full UK driving licence is essential.
• This role requires a DBS check.

• Minimum of an NVQ Level 2 plumbing qualification.
• Comfortable working in a live environment, occupied properties majority of time.
• Ability to take responsibility, use initiative to identify solutions and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner, delivering customer satisfaction.
• A full UK driving licence.
• DBS check.

As a plumber you will need to hold a minimum of an NVQ level 2 plumbing qualification. You will be comfortable in working in a live environment, working in occupied properties the majority of time. What is equally as important is the ability to take responsibility to use your initiative to identify solutions and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner, delivering customer satisfaction.
