Skilled Generator Engineer required to service, maintain, fault‑find and repair diesel generators and associated electrical systems. Role includes planned maintenance, emergency call‑outs, installations, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities- Service and maintain diesel generators and control panels.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
- Install and commission generator sets, cabling, and switch gear.
- Carry out testing, inspection, and certification.
- Respond to breakdowns and provide effective solutions.
- Complete accurate job reports and maintain safety compliance.
- AM2 (or equivalent) completed.
- ECS Gold Card (or eligible).
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation/Maintenance.
- Strong electrical knowledge incl. BS 7671 (18th Edition).
- Experience with commercial/industrial electrical systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
