Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join a great brand. You will be working within a digital product team responsible for developing and enhancing customer-facing web and CRM applications. This is a hands-on role combining automated and manual testing, with a strong focus on Playwright, Type Script/JavaScript and ensuring high-quality digital customer journeys. You will work closely with Software Engineers, Product Owners and UX/UI Designers, contributing to testing strategy, automation frameworks and continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.
Role & Responsibilities
Design and execute automated and manual tests across customer-facing web applications.
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and Type Script/JavaScript.
Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory and end-to-end testing.
Conduct cross-browser and responsive testing across desktop and mobile devices.
Test APIs and integrations using Playwright, Postman or similar tools.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, ideally Git Lab.
Identify, investigate and resolve defects, working closely with development teams.
Contribute to accessibility, performance and overall digital quality standards.
Skills & Experience
3+ years' experience in QA / Software Testing within a digital or web application environment.
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation testing.
Good working knowledge of Type Script or JavaScript.
Experience testing customer-facing web applications across multiple browsers and devices.
Strong understanding of manual, exploratory, regression and end-to-end testing.
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Bruno or Playwright.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git and automated test integration.
Understanding of HTML, CSS, browser developer tools and web accessibility (WCAG).
Experience working within Agile software development teams.
