Courier Delivery Driver

The Sameday Company  offers express and dedicated delivery services across the UK to businesses based in Hampshire and Surrey.
We are recruiting  experienced self-employed drivers  to join our team who are efficient, reliable, good communicators, take pride in their work and appearance, and, above all, are customer-focused.
You will be required to undertake dedicated express courier deliveries across the country in a Mercedes Sprinter or equivalent-sized LWB vehicle.
Our service is B2B only; we do not undertake a high-volume multi-drop parcel service, and we do not contract to Amazon.
To drive one of the fleet vehicles, you must be  25 or over.

You must also be based close to Andover, Basingstoke or Winchester.

You will be responsible for undertaking dedicated, time-critical express courier deliveries throughout the UK, driving a Mercedes Sprinter or equivalent long-wheelbase (LWB) vehicle.
Your main duties will include:
Collecting and delivering goods directly between business customers.
Completing dedicated same-day deliveries to meet customer deadlines.
Loading, securing and unloading goods safely.
Planning routes to ensure deliveries are completed on time.
Maintaining regular communication with our transport office.
Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining proof of delivery.
Conducting daily vehicle checks and keeping your vehicle clean and presentable.
Providing a professional and reliable service while representing The Sameday Company.
This is a dedicated business-to-business courier role, not multi-drop parcel delivery. You will be expected to work independently, manage your time effectively and maintain high standards of customer service.

We are looking for experienced, professional self-employed drivers who are reliable, well-organised and committed to providing excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, take pride in their work and personal appearance, and demonstrate a professional attitude at all times.
Above all, they must be dependable, customer-focused and understand the importance of delivering goods safely, securely and on time while representing The Sameday Company to the highest standards.
