• Salary of £29,205 per annum

As a Night shift General Operative, you will perform a variety of warehouse duties to support our night shift operations for our key Howdens contract. You will receive, pick, put away, replenish and dispatch items in an efficient, safe and timely manner. Reporting to the section leader, you will ensure all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedures and raise any defects to your line manager.

• At a minimum, GCSEs (or equivalent) and have a good understanding of both written and verbal English
• To be literate and numerate
• The ability to work as part of a team
• A detail-oriented approach

Awareness of manual handling techniques would be beneficial to your application, as would previous warehouse experience. This is a permanent, full-time role, working 10pm to 06:30am, Monday to Friday. Other organisations may call this role Logistics Operative, Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Assistant, Warehouse Picker, Warehouse Co-ordinator, or Logistics Picker.
