Job Summary
The Quality Supervisor oversees a team of Quality Training Specialists to execute the activities required to meet IES training and quality standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Work closely with Quality Manager to establish company's quality procedures, standards and specifications for all business units.
- Define and train quality procedures to team and operations staff.
- Review reports done by team to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Ensure that manufacturers' specifications are met.
- Proactively look for ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures.
- Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing data and recommendations.
- Make suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them.
- Use relevant quality tools to make sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business.
- Monitor team to confirm we are working as effectively as possible.
- Be a customer advocate.
- Mentor team members to achieve goals; professional and personal.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Salary:
Min USD 74,000 /Yr. Max USD 90,000 /Yr.
- Operate as a team member of management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Lead by positive example on policy, quality, safety, employee, ethical, and customer satisfaction attitude.
- Must be able to work a non-standard work schedule as required for training.
- MUST be able to climb ladders, use hand and power tools, lift 50 pounds.
- Self‑motivated, positive, professional, and able to lead others to create, develop, implement and review project process improvements.
- Promote Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners.
- Proven problem‑solving and critical thinking skills, and ability to read, write and give oral presentations.
- High skill level to interpret blueprints and project documents, including specifications, reporting and quality requirements.
- Travel within branch or regional territory as needed.
- Learn and teach Company and customer project management systems.
- Estimated 50% travel.
- Regular attendance is mandatory.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years training experience or related role.
- Minimum of 5 years project management experience in telecommunications, electrical or related technical or construction field.
- Prefer BICSI trainer certification.
- Knowledge of job costing, job planning, quality management, safety training and contract administration.
- Working knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry and their applications.
- Skilled in numerical and statistical analysis.
- Organize and plan your work and work of others.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project).
- Meet Company minimum driving standards.
- Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theory (preferred).
- Lead and work as part of a team.
- Determine tools and equipment needed for a job.
- Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications.
- Working knowledge of construction process (bid process, project management, delegation, financial…)
- BICSI Technician certification (preferred).
- BICSI trainer certification (preferred).
- 0–2 years; no license required; no minimum education (High School).
