• Project Planning and Coordination:
• Lead the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project management and engineering teams.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment to project sites.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Construction Execution and Supervision:
• Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, including subcontractor work, equipment installations, and material handling.
• Monitor progress against project schedules and budgets, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure work is being performed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
• Quality Assurance and Control:
• Establish and enforce quality control procedures and standards to ensure workmanship, materials, and finished products meet project specifications.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks at various stages of construction to identify and address quality issues and deviations from standards.
• Implement corrective actions and follow-up measures to ensure timely resolution of quality deficiencies.
• Team Leadership and Development:
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project teams, including field personnel, subcontractors, and support staff.
• Set performance expectations and goals for team members and conduct regular performance evaluations to assess progress and provide feedback.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement among project teams.
• Stakeholder Communication:
• Serve as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
• Communicate effectively with project management and stakeholders to provide updates on project status, issues, and changes.
• Address stakeholder concerns or requests in a timely and professional manner to maintain positive relationships and ensure project success.
