Senior Academic Coach, gt.school – $150,000/year USD

Location & Compensation Details- Location:
Austin, TX (relocation assistance provided) - Compensation: $150,000 annually, paid weekly; full health benefits; 401(k) Roth available.
- Architect and facilitate advanced learning sessions – develop workshops across disciplines (mathematics, sciences, philosophy, creative writing) while delivering one‑on‑one mentorship to 15‑20 high‑ability students progressing at 5‑10× typical velocity.
- Identify and resolve cognitive roadblocks – modify instructional methods dynamically to support students who have exceeded the capacity of conventional education systems.
- Apply AI‑driven tools for customized instruction.
- Partner and iterate – work alongside colleagues to enhance workshop frameworks and measure effectiveness using qualitative insights and quantitative data.
- Prestigious academic background – Bachelor’s degree from an Ivy League institution or comparable university.
- Demonstrated intellectual achievement – National Merit Finalist status, Olympiad medal, accelerated college completion, or equivalent distinction.
- Exceptional scholarly credential – recipient of a competitive award (Rhodes, Fulbright, NSF GRFP), membership in Mensa or Triple Nine Society, doctoral degree, or experience teaching at university level.
- 3 years of mentorship background – direct experience coaching, mentoring, or instructing students in any educational setting.
- Regular use of AI technology – daily engagement with generative AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar).
- Geographic requirement – prepared to relocate to or maintain an in‑person presence in Austin, TX.
- Employment eligibility – current legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
