The Learning Experience #491 in Bastrop, TX is looking for a passionate and adaptable Preschool Floater to join our team! • Float between preschool classrooms to provide coverage and support as needed throughout the day
• Assist lead teachers in delivering age-appropriate, curriculum-based activities for early childhood learners
• Supervise and engage children during play, meals, rest, and transitions
• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment in accordance with licensing standards
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members
• Support social-emotional development and positive behavior guidance techniques
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding daily activities and child progress

• High school diploma or GED required; early childhood education coursework preferred
• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and age groups
• Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
• Must meet state licensing requirements, including background check clearance
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Reliable, punctual, and a true team player with a positive attitude

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Our curriculum focuses on the six ages and stages of early childhood development and engages children in hands-on learning activities that encourage them to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development. This forms a foundation for kids to Learn, Play and Grow under the care of our nurturing teachers and staff.
