Field Services Engineer

Location: Bastrop, TX (On-Site)

LS ELECTRIC AMERICA is a global manufacturer of electrical power and automation equipment. We are expanding our presence in North America and seeking a Service Engineer to join our technical field support and commissioning team.

The Service Engineer will perform commissioning, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of LV/MV switch gear, transformers, and protection systems
, ensuring successful system operation and high customer satisfaction.

• Perform inspection, testing, calibration, adjustments, component replacement, and warranty service.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and control system issues.
• Conduct system start‑up and commissioning at customer sites.
• Provide customer support and training on system operation.
• Maintain detailed service records and reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely service delivery.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Travel for service assignments, training, and project support.

• Vocational training, military experience, or equivalent practical electrical theory background required.
• Bachelor’s in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience with LV/MV switch gear
• Experience with Power transformers
• Experience with Relay protection systems
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer‑facing professionalism.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
