We are a FQHC, currently seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) for an opening at our Bastrop Community Health Center location. Position requires travel between sites and knowledge of pediatrics.
Responsibilities:- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures,
- Record patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately,
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by providers,
- Perform administrative tasks, including managing patient records, and
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
- Additionally, you will interact closely with patients, making them feel at ease while assisting with any concerns they may have.
- Completion of a certified Medial Assistant program with phlebotomy, required,
- Strong interpersonal skills and a caring attitude towards patients,
- Proficiency in medical terminology and basic computer skills,
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
