A Produce Clerk at Sprouts Farmers Market must handle, prepare, and merchandize farm fresh produce to deliver the highest level of customer service and satisfaction. This includes stocking the Produce department, presenting product, facing, filling, and organizing all items as set by the Produce Department schematics and ensuring tag and pricing accuracy. You will be responsible for proper stocking, rotation, trimming, watering, and merchandising of products to ensure fresh, high‑quality offerings.

You will maintain inventory control to maximize product freshness and availability, and answer customer questions in a friendly manner. Excellence in a fast‑paced environment is essential.

• Using a knife (other than safety cutters)
• Using a ladder
• Operating garbage or cardboard compactor
• Operating any motor/electronically powered equipment (including manual pallet jacks)
• Working in coolers or freezers for prolonged periods of time

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Dependable and reliable, able to work a flexible schedule that changes, including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Show mutual respect for others and maintain a high-level code of ethics within Sprouts’ culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
• Have good communication skills; able to take direction and participate in a team environment.
• Perform repetitive activities, multitask, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb throughout the workday and lift, stack, and maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs from 4” to 72”, for a distance up to 3 feet, between 10‑50 hours without mechanical assistance. Also maneuver a utility cart holding 20 lbs requiring a force up to 35 lbs, up to 2 hours, a distance up to 20 feet.
• Walk up to 5 miles in an 8 hour shift.
• Adhere to all safety, health, OSHA and Weights and Measures regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
