• Responsible for repairs and required preventive maintenance of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, trucks and/or other heavy equipment.
• Interpret work orders and technical manuals.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components or systems.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure the work meets manufacturer's specifications and legislated regulations.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and perform maintenance on equipment required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), company and any other Federal, State or Local regulations.

• Must have a CDL Class B or higher.
• Must have acceptable MVR.
• Must have 3-5 years experience in diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Must have own tools.
• Physical activities include: walking, lifting, twisting, turning, climbing, etc.
• Must work in a neat, orderly and safe manner.
• Should have specific knowledge of heavy truck repairs in a commercial environment, including diesel engine systems diagnostics to ensure equipment is operating appropriately.

• Able to perform rigorous physical labor for a continuous period.
• Must be able to work outside, frequently in inclement weather.
• Capable of properly installing & removing PPE.
• Ability to wear PPE and understands when to wear it.
• Ability to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands and sense of balance.
• Ability to sustain awkward positions/postures.
