Supported Employment/Education Specialist (SEES)

Join Clear Path Early Onset Psychosis Team as a Supported Employment/Education Specialist (SEES) and be a part of a dynamic, interdisciplinary care team transforming lives at a critical time. This isn’t just a job—it’s a chance to guide young people toward independence through purposeful employment and education.

As a SEES, you’ll provide one-on-one coaching and skill-building to youth and young adults (ages 15–30) in the early stages of psychosis. You’ll help them gain the tools to secure employment, return to school, and reach personal goals—with support every step of the way. You’ll work alongside dedicated clinicians, families, and community partners in a collaborative care model designed for lasting impact.

• Provide individualized career coaching and guidance.

• Track progress and outcomes using digital tools.
• Help clients explore and access educational pathways like GED, college, or vocational programs.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfort working with youth and young adults
• Ability to balance structure with flexibility
• A passion for mental health recovery and empowerment
• Willingness to travel within Williamson and Burnet counties
• Background in vocational services, education, psychology, or related field preferred

Location: Bastrop, Fayette and Lee counties

Hourly Salary Range: $21.46 – $30.71

• Up to $4.00/hour, tenure with BTCS
• Up to $2.00/hour, previous community center experience in a similar position
• $1.00/hour, advanced licensure
• $.50/hour, LCDC

$200 Monthly Service Delivery Bonus

Credentials

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in a social, behavioral, or human service field and knowledge of mental illness. Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and maintain approved driver’s status throughout employment.
• If degree is not in a human services field, a minimum of 24 college credits in a human services field are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of experience in mental health assessment and/or crisis intervention and screening
• Master’s degree in psychology, social work or a related human service field
• Bilingual preferred
