Position: Account Assistant ( GL Section )

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Account Assistant to join our Finance team. This role is responsible to support month end closing, ensuring accurate reporting, and overseeing inventory and fixed asset processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and hands‑on experience in inventory control and reconciliation.

This position plays a key role in supporting month‑end closing, monitoring inventory movements, performing stock reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. The candidate will also support audit processes and maintain the integrity of financial and inventory data to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Manage fixed assets, including acquisition, depreciation, disposal, tagging, and periodic verification.
  • Prepare fixed asset reports, including Capex tracking and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare & manage daily inventory consumption.
  • Monitor and reconcile inventory movements.
  • Conduct physical stock counts (monthly/yearly) and investigate discrepancies.
  • Prepare monthly inventory report.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations and prepare balance sheet schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and tax regulations.
  • Support tax audits by preparing documentation and responding to tax inquiries.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing required documentation and supporting audit processes.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records to ensure completeness and audit readiness.
  • Support ad‑hoc finance tasks and perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
  • 2–3 years of accounting experience.
  • Experience in ERP system (Navision, SAP etc).
  • Strong financial analysis skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
