An established international project delivery MNC is seeking an experienced Construction Project Director to lead the delivery of large-scale data center developments in Batam, Indonesia.

This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the end-to-end construction lifecycle of hyperscale and enterprise data center projects, ensuring delivery excellence across safety, quality, schedule, budget, and stakeholder management.

• Lead the full lifecycle delivery of data center construction projects from pre-construction through commissioning and handover.
• Develop and execute project strategies, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Direct and manage multidisciplinary project teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors.

• Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, quality, and safety standards.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and delays.
• Drive project execution while maintaining strict compliance with industry regulations and client requirements.

• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, contractors, utility providers, and government authorities.
• Provide regular project updates, reports, and presentations to senior leadership.

• Manage project budgets, cost controls, contract administration, and change management processes.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring informed decision-making throughout project delivery.
• Drive value engineering initiatives without compromising performance, reliability, or quality.

• Champion a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Ensure quality assurance processes are implemented throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing, and final handover activities.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15+ years of construction project delivery experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale data center construction projects is essential.
• Strong understanding of mission-critical infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, cooling, and building systems.
• Experience managing EPC contractors, consultants, and commissioning teams.
• Proven track record delivering projects valued in excess of USD
  100M+.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, contracts, and project financials.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment.

• Hyperscale, colocation, or enterprise data center project experience.
• Experience delivering greenfield developments.
• Familiarity with commissioning, operational readiness, and handover processes.
• Experience working across Southeast Asia is advantageous.
• PMP, PMI, RICS, MRICS, or equivalent professional certifications are beneficial.
