Site Construction Manager (Shipyard / Marine)
Direct and coordinate all daily onsite construction activities to achieve target project milestones while upholding strict safety and quality standards.
Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure strict adherence to project specifications, Classification Society rules, statutory regulations, and marine industry best practices.
Maintain active communication with Owner Representatives and Class Surveyors to resolve technical challenges during construction.
Monitor vendor and subcontractor performance; execute corrective actions for safety or quality violations, including retraining, financial penalties, or site dismissal.
Develop detailed production schedules to ensure construction tasks are logically sequenced, maximizing resource efficiency and minimizing costly rework.
Compile Lesson Learned reports and root-cause analyses to resolve non-compliances and prevent recurrence across current and future builds.
Requirements- Degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager with proven exposure to marine newbuilding projects.
- Practical understanding of shipbuilding processes, newbuilding execution, and Classification Society regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
- Willing and able to work full-time on-site in Batam, Indonesia.
