Shift Lead

• Lead and manage a team of shift technicians, providing guidance and support, fostering collaboration, and conducting performance reviews.
• Ensure all data centre operations run smoothly and efficiently during the shift, monitoring critical services and addressing issues promptly.
• Co‑ordinate with other departments to resolve operational challenges.
• Prepare detailed shift handover reports, conduct shift handover meetings, and ensure information is communicated effectively before the shift ends.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, SOPs, and regulatory requirements, conduct safety drills and training, and report incidents.
• Provide technical assistance to the shift team, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with the technical support team for complex problems.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement best practices, and participate in development programs to enhance skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in data centre operations or a similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Technical proficiency in data centre systems and operations.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, 24/7 operational environment.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards.
